Anyone been to Cricket or Long creek today? Wondering if it is a sheet of ice or usuable?
-
I still have two of these left of the seven I had. If anyone is interested, let me know. $1350. These are the latest model, but have the gt54 ducer in lieu of the 56. I run both and can't see difference. Basspro is sold out of these and they will get no more.

$1350 if anyone is interested.

Not exactly, but still a good deal if you couldn't get one last week. If someone needs one they are still cheaper than anywhere else.

If this is not supposed to be here then delete please. I only put here because you guys are junkies. Looking for some old or newer Falcon lowriders or a Cara. Need the old 6 ft 10 spinning shakey head and some lizard draggers or Amistad in casting. PM me if you have some. I will give good money and have a lot of tackle to trade as well.

Call rmp metals in Springfield and have them cut a 1/8 peice if aluminum to your dimensions...I built my own mount for my dash

I agree with all Swift said. I have had some issues with my Force and they sent me new stuff the next day. I wouldn't have tried the first year model without their type of service. I have run all 3 brands quite a bit. (Not motorguide which also is having a lot of issues with servo breaking cables) Buy what you want..none are junk So for FORCE good: I know 100% it is the most silet t motor out there. Not even close for others to second (I have run them all). The thing will fly and more efficient during to brushless. ZERO interference with ANY graph...only lowrance and garmin can actually say this..it's 50/50 on others. Works with Garmin graphs and makes autopilot waypoint finding easy BEST customer service Did I mention it's fast..21 ft fully loaded boat will do 4.3 mph Best remote out there..not even close Bad: A little floppy when turning Had a few issues with foot pedal (replaced and new one is good) Anchor lock is too close to pedal and my 14 size shoe hits it when I don't want to. Take a while to get used to pedal and not as good as ultrex in tight spots

I thought I might get a few replies based on the topic. A few thoughts: 1. No t-motor is perfect and no one makes junk. 2. With technology, brushless motor, built in features, effortless steering, etc there is more to break/fail. 3. Garmin customer service is the only reason I woul try year model number one. They are the best I have ever dealt with. 4. The garmin motor will fly..it is fast! 5. No interference and very quite is really, really nice! 6. Really like idea of motorguide, but 4 and 5 above are really, really nice and motorguide is just same old 1985 cables and electric motor. But I have used it for years and it rarely failed. I would like to try one sometime.

BOAT Wrx in Springfield is a great bunch! They are helping me by letting me use their pedal in stock and swap them out when I get mine from Garmin! They have gained a customer for life!
-
The foot pedal will not steer. Garmin took care of me, but due to shipping and supply issues it is 6 weeks to get me one. I can't blame them for that. They know they have a problem with the pedal and admitted it. Of the 5 close friends with these all the pedals have failed. This is one of the reasons they are not available. I like some of the features of the motor, but durability and floppy shaft are issues with me. The prop and case scatch really easy. If someone wants one 6 months old for 500 off, I would sale mine.

If anyone has just the foot pedal to a Garmin t-motor...one to barter, borrow, or buy, please let me know. Mine is out and 4 or more weeks to get replaced due to shipping issues with stock. Just trying all options to not switch out motors now. Thanks

I have an old motorguide 36 volt foot control trolling motor that needs a new home. It is well used, but works last time I used it. Be a good spare or for parts. It is the 42 inch shaft, I think an 03 model. It does not include mount. Take $30 bucks or equivalent cranks or jerkbaits. I can save it for you, just message me. I will take it off shelf for pics if needed.

Has the park and the ramp been opened back up? It was closed early by Johnny M. Shame the Corps sells public property for private gain.

We stayed at the wilderness lodge on turtle lake. https://www.thewildernesslodge.com/ Hate to give up secret spot, but she has some openings in a few weeks and needs business due to some covid related cancellations. She has a first class resort with a neat, northwoods cabin feel with all amenities about 40 miles north of Grand Rapids and usually books out at least a year in advance. I highly recommend to anyone especially if you can rent the cabin we do that is right on your own private beach 20 ft away from door for kids to swim in. She has a ramp and dock for boats. Turtle Lake has a 20 inch length limit on smallmouth and I had several over 4 lbs. The lake has a good population of lm but a 3 lber is big. The water was warm and grass not fully in so it was "harder" than usual. We caught a lot early and late on buzzer and bladed jig. With full sun, the smallmouth will actually swim to the boat and follow it around 2 or 3 ft deep. You can sometimes get them to bite plastic but a nightcrawler works 75% of time. It doesn't seem logical. I also go down to Pokegama Lake and the Mississippi a day or two at Grand Rapids. Caught fish on a frog on the river (pic of me running under Bridge in river) and then 1 to 3 lb LM up to 4lbs under docks. I went through 50 senkos in one half day so you do the math. It is a great area and not busy at all, with simply unlimited lakes to fish. Also, bass fishing isn't popular and most of the time power fishing and flipping for LM is the deal. For pure fishing I like the lakes that are associated with the Mississippi river, but most are good. If interested, pm me and I will be glad to let you know where I have been.

Water was 83 degrees and usually about 70 now. Got rain on Wednesday and dropped to 77..fishing was still good and family and I had fun. View from cabin doesn't get much better.
