darn thats sucks. I personally havent been to jolly for a year or two but it was always ok. Never really caught much on that part of the river anyways but for the ones that ruined it for the rest, its really pitiful ya cant pick up after yourselves like adults.

My brother once got a ticket for "possession of fish without a fishing license" for bringing my stringer back to the car. He just called the court/judge and explained the situation and the ticket was thrown out.

Almost all my spinners are 1/2oz. I catch fish and I rarely unhook any dinks. Know where the fish are holding and just present it the way they want it.

Seen those big ugly wal-mart poles snap from people trying to snag spoonbill. "Its a big one, URGGGGGGG, *SNAP!" The look on their face man.... If you see someone snap their rod while fishing, I swear its some of the funniest things ever.

Its been inconsistent. One trip they are on, next trip its dead silent. Even when the conditions are perfect for topwater, they are not surfacing.

Vonreed, are you saying 6 stripers were pulled from the bank? If you fish down more by the road and toss your lure over the fence, there are some nice whites around there. Only problem is avoiding that fence when you reel back in.

Last time I went down there were alot of people scattered throughout the limit bank fishing area. Saw probably 4 boats with only 1 throwing big baits. And the only bank fisherman I saw throwing big baits was my brother haha. Everyone else seemed to have a rouge tied on. Didnt see any stripers get pulled out but a few whites and 1 walleye.

I wish I had a receipt to return it to BPS even though I didnt buy it there lol

In most states its illegal to use deadly force to protect property. Some people have too much ego. I hope this marina learns a lesson from this type of BS. Could of just thrown a few pebbles and I'm sure MOST of us fishermen would get the message. However, I'm curious to know. Are there people out there that continuously pursue fishing areas of water where they've been told off before? landowner - "hey sir, you're in private land now and no fishing is allowed. i'll appreciate if you go back the other way." fisherman - "ok, sorry about that" *next day fisherman returns*

I bet the guy that broke it last year is in agony. Was down there the other day but man, that water is NOT going down for a long time. Lot of people fishing, not alot catching.

Thats a beauty! Huge gut. I caught two last year, kept one and released the other. This year, if none are record breaking like yours, they will all be released so we can enjoy them at Bullshoals for years to come.
