Last night I fished with my neighbor and uncle. We had a blast and caught about 25 between the 3 of us. I managed to land a ncie 20" brown and the dumb fish bit my uncles fly after being hooked with mine. It was a rare sight. There was one guy just below us on the point that was doing pretty good. I was just curious if that person is on this forum, and who are you. I wanted to say hi to you last night, but when it started raining you seemed in a hurry.

I don't dry fly a lot but when I do a crackleback always brings in fish down there. As much as they hit on zebra midges, I'm sure a soft hackle with some ribbing would do the trick. Try black thread with a small silver wire.

Anyone remember the billboard on 65 about 5 years ago that had a picture of a yellow lab with a hook in his mouth? It said "Would you do this to your dog, Save the fish". Some people are out there to end all fishing.

I love Bass Pro just as much as the next guy, but I want to put in a plug for our local shops. If you are headed down here for vacation or you live here, save yourself some money and go to the 4 local fly shops in town. A lot cheaper option and much better info from the owners.

Any particular size or color? Did you use any weight at all? Sometimes I put a tiny weight just above the crackle back to get it just under the surface?
