Thanks! Mostly just going to get to know the lake since this will be my first time. Is it because of lack of numbers? What method did you use to catch the ones you caught?
Well, gonna try to get there early this Saturday and get in a few hours of fishing before it gets bad. First time there. They also stock walleye but there doesn't seem to be a lot of interest in fishing for them. Why, I wonder?
Have a week off starting August 7. Planning a trip to Norfork. Will be looking for walleye and crappie. Figure it will be pretty hot by then and the thermocline will be down around 30 feet or more. Should I plan on just fishing at night? If so, is it better to start late evening to night or get up early and fish night to morning?
Where should I be fishing? Will be at Blackburns so where in that area should I concentrate on? Is August a bad time all around on Norfork? Plus the water will still be high since they are only dropping it a couple of inches everyday. How will that factor in?
Had a man-step on my last 2 boats. Wouldn't be without it. I'm 65 but you don't have to be older to appreciate them. Comes in handy when you're trying to keep your feet dry while launching.
