I was in your situation this past weekend. BPS in Springfield are out of ned rig jigs..... They have plenty of ZMann PGJ worms. I had to use Arkie jigs and they performed well except it would get hung up in the rocks a little more.
I haven't post much on here for years but am a lurker whenever I headed for the rock.
Had a great weekend I got a 5th place finish yesterday on that ned rig in our local bass club tournament.
I went down Friday morning to fish a club tx on Saturday & Sunday. I finished in 3 place on Saturday with 15 lbs and some change. Sunday fish seemed more scattered than they were Saturday.
Both tx days all the fish I caught were 15 inches and larger
I will be back down there in 2 weeks I can't wait.....
Special thanks to Don House, I called him on Thursday and he pointed me in the right direction..
I'd post pictures if I know where to host the pictures. It will not let me use shutter fly
I also don't post much, I just study before I go down. I also will be down a couple times next month, even though I still struggle on the Rock I like to know what's been working.... As far as fishing with the guides, I had the pleasure of fishing for a afternoon with Don House.. Wish I could have done as well as he did.
 Plans changed my yamaha is at the hospital. I took it to Hydro Tec on Thursday, they probably will not have it fixed until mid week, So I canceled my motel reservation.
Just asking if the patterns I've been reading will still hold up through the first of the week? Thats if any major fronts come through.
Also Don House when would it be a good time to call you?
The lake is muddy, go up the Gravois Mills area much cleaner water. We did fished the cove @ 6 mm and caught quite a few fish. They seemed to key on baits with chart. in them.
I'm going to be at the lake a couple days next week, I was wondering if anyone knew a a good place to stay by the water that isn't too expencive. I was hoping to stay around the Gravois Mills area. But will go to Osage Beach if nessary.
Thought I join in, I accidently found the forum a couple weeks ago when looking for information on fishing Table Rock. I saw Don House was a member so I thought they let anyone join. The info I got from the forum and Don made my trip to the Rock sucessful
