This is a great story. Kyle(kayak owner)told me he is fly fishing Taney next week. I have ask him if he would tell this story on Liv2flyfish Radio. I hope he says yes. If he does I will record a special episode. I want to hear the whole story as well. There must have been alot of heat on the thief. Kyle says it was someone associated with this forum That recovered this kayak. I will keep you posted.

BIG NEWS, Someone from the forum named Randy found Michaels kayak floating under the Hwy. 86 bridge and has it. He has the kayak and is returning to Michael this weekend. I know there were alot of you that were saddened by the theft of this heirloom. Michael has contacted me and told me to say thanks to all of you who were helping keep an eye out for his kayak. This is great news. Thanks again everyone.

I'm not sure about that Phil. Kyle is just sick about the loss of his kayak. I just hope that all the good people who are on your forum will remember this kayak and call when they see it. I am missing my Wooden Kayak that was made by Bill Jones in Blue Eye Mo. The Kayak is missing from Table Rock Lake near the HWY 86 Bridge Down by Breezy Point Cliffs. The Dock that the Kayak became missing from is also located neer Happy Hollow Resort and Williams Landing neighborhood. I am offering a reward for any information leading to the where abouts of my beloved wooden Kayak. My dad gave it to me before he died as a family heirloom and now its gone. I WANT THIS KAYAK BACK. It is important that we understand our rights on Mo. streams and rivers or we will lose them. I have posted the last Mo. Supreme Court ruling on this subject at www.liv2flyfish.com. from the home page you can access "Public Rights on Mo. Streams" and you can read about this ruling on Elder vs. Declour in Dent County in 1954. We sure do have the right to fish most all waters in Mo. Read it for yourself. This was given to me by a Mo. Dept. of Conservation officer after I had trouble with the owner of the land below Roaring River.

I just got back from Brookie fishing in Wyoming and caught fish like crazy with San Juan worms in red, orange and shammy. They went crazy on them. Good luck and have fun.

I would also like to know more about stream rights in Arkansas. I have a pdf file about stream rights in Mo. posted on my website www.liv2flyfish.com . It is the last Mo. Supreme Court ruling on this matter. It took place in Dent County on the Merimac River in 1959. Elder vs. Delcour. It explains past rulings all the way back to the 1800's when logging rights on stream were the concern. The rivers and streams in Mo. are concidered public highways in most cases. There are more and more land owners in our state that feel the own the streams when in fact they do not. I know it is because of people who have no respect for for any kind of conservation. People who party and litter and who knows what else on our streams. Regardless of these people we have to know our rights or they will erode before our eyes. Please take the time to read this ruling and understand our rights in Mo. Also if anyone know about stream right in Ar. please post them so we can be sure of these very important rights.
