  1. Niiiiiiiiice!!
  2. Man, I've got to tell you...these baits look better everytime you post a new picture! I still believe the fish are having a little spawning hatred toward panfish and these would work well!
  3. Gotcha, I really wish I could go with you but I have to work in STL at a Boeing supplier until 3:00 pm, I'm then dropping by Coscto to get the steaks then start down. Probably won't get there until 6 or so. I'm wondering which section you are going to float on Thursday? The area above Riddle bridge is awesome for a canoe. The last 100 fish day I've had in Missouri was on that float. I predict you wont see anyone else the whole day on that float, but I could be wrong. I hope you catch a personal best smallie and have a bunch of digital pics! I love great stories and Pics!
  4. Thought it was you and Gavin for Thursday
  5. So Gavin supplys the meat for FriDay night You will supply the sides on Friday night I will supply the sodas on Friday night I will supply the steaks for Saturday night anything else?
  6. I get your point, but bringing up the past is irrelevant. I doubt anyone wants to ride a horse to work anymore. Green energy does work but it's going to take time to get it right.
  7. With all this talk about beer brands............ Here is a Bud Light drinker with way too much time on his hands. Imagine the type of fly this guy could create! Poor Dawg
  8. Geez Cricket, I can have an Amber Alert ready to go if you want! Anyway, you live in Lebanon, if these are unfamiliar waters you need some guidance my friend. BTW, don't try to show me your ugly stick while in the boat.
  9. I think Cricket is coming on Friday evening too BTW, since we have a small group, I'll volunteer to supply steaks for Saturday night!
  10. Since I can't get there until friday afternoon/evening I may take the jet out and do a little night fishing for an hour or two if anyone is interested.
  11. What I would use depends a great deal on river conditions that day. Generally if the water is murky go with a spinner bait or a loud crank bait like a wiggle wart. If the water is clearish I would use a 4" worm or a small crawfish crankbait like a bandit 200. Buzzbaits and Sammys are great too. Let the fish tell you what should use, I would fish topwater until 10 am then switch to flukes, small crank baits, or a 4" inch worm.
  12. Wow, mighty nice of you, I will take care of the buns and sodas/ BYOB

  22. Must have been a possum os some other inefficient predator, anything else would have killed the chicken with ease. When I was a sprout we went to church camp called Camp Ne-o-tez which is in a beautiful valley with a spring fed creek running thru the camp down to the big river. There were plenty of caves in the neotez valley that went way back underground about 400-500 yards or more. Every week we would choose one day to gown down and float the Big as a camp activity. I caught many nice smallies back in the mid to late 70's there. At the time I thought they were huge but thinking back were probably only 14-15". The camp is located off of Big River Heights road in DeSoto, and is still operational. Does that area sound familier to you?
  23. dung dung dung........ just seeing if this virus has wiped out Phil's blocker
