  1. I'm not judging anyone either
  2. My brother told me this was great, sorry I missed it
  3. I get it at Costco, it's called Dual Action Cleanse
  4. Wonderful kids! It reminds me of my brother and I growing up only 17 months apart. Back in the late 60's, my dad gave us indentical fishing rods and zebco reels. To this day he can't figure out why we are still fishing fanatics!
  5. IMO, other than saving a little money, you're not going to get any health benefits from eating wild game, those deer are eating the same pesticide laced corn the cows in the grocery store are. Some are saying they eat locally grown meat and vegetables that are more organic than grocery store food, that would be a better choice. But who knows if they are really organic? Most of us don't live on a farm and it is not affordable or practical to eat only organic food. A more practical approach would be to cleanse your body with supplements 2 or 3 times a year for $40 a pop...much cheaper than buying organic food. Anyway, all nutritionists agree that the American diet needs to be changed to less meat and more vegetables. You're also better off buying only the food around the perimeter of the grocery store,(that's all the perishable stuff), and stay away from the processed food in the middle...even the parasites won't eat that crap. In defense of Vegans, If you look at your own teeth in the mirror, do you think we were designed to eat more vegetables or meat? I've never seen a predator with teeth like ours, with the exception of our small canine teeth, our teeth look much more like a cow or horse's teeth than a predator. Also, if you believe in the bible, there is a story in the old testament: Daniel 1:15-17 (New International Version, ©2010) 15 At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food (meat). 16 So the guard took away their choice food and the wine they were to drink and gave them vegetables instead. 17 To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. not a bible lesson here but if you take the story as a story, the vegetarians got smarter after 10 days of eating veggies
  6. The same being poured by Matthews, Olbermann, and Maddow. The only difference is no one listens to those losers! You'll never change your mind and I'll never change mine, so don't waste your breathe. Anyway, I got a good wine buzz on and wondering who the hell ever told the Black Eyed Peas They have talent? Worthless half time show. Bunch of dam one hit wonders. They're dressed like a bunch of Tron wannabes....total crap
  7. http://tvbythenumbers.zap2it.com/2011/02/04/cable-news-ratings-for-thursday-february-3-2011/81541 It really bothers me the crap both sides spew.
  8. Good, you did your homework and listened to both sides and came up with your own opinion Now let's expose the scientists; list your findings for each of the scientist mentioned in this video And which corporation is backing them, 1 at a time. Let' s expose them!
  9. Thanks for pointing that out Captain Obvious, Now listen to the words on both sides
  10. This video is "right side" leaning but it's still pretty informative
  11. As I was watching this video, I was struck by how slow the movements were of these smallmouth. It reminds me to slow down in the winter when I'm fishing. These are large fish that seem very wary of the bait, or are just in the winter time doldrums. It seems the less movement imparted by the angler, the more the fish respond.
  12. Long, long before then my friend
  13. Agreed, you always need a back up set of waders
  14. That Boone and Crockett shiner is what I normally call a creek chub. BTW, be careful when your floating alone in the winter,I know you're a pro at this but it only takes one little mishap when you're alone. Great Story!
  15. I'm pretty convinced that no one will ever change their mind on this or any forum regarding politics, religion, and global warming. People will find something to argue about no matter what the circumstances are.
  16. I agree with you, follow the money
  17. I take it you're not fond of Rush and Beck
  18. Bullseye bait and tackle in O'Fallon, MO or you can borrow one from Cricket, he uses them for flag sticks in disc golf
  19. Great comments Al, I purposely left some of the statements vague to get some chatter going. It seems that the barbless thing is not that big of a deal to most guys. And to the rest of you thanks for the comments too!
  20. There are a couple of guys in the MSA who wouldn't fish without pinching the barb down. Everyone I fish with thinks it's a non issue. I once got flack by some fly fishermen at Taneycomo for fishing a jerkbait with barbed trebles. The spot where I was fishing had no restrictions. I'm also very careful to release the fish unharmed. As far as mishandling the fish; One of my pet peeves is watching Bill Dance lipping a fish then holding it up horizontally without supporting the tail to show the camera; drives me crazy.
  21. Every angler who is passionate about fishing has their own version of what is harmful to fish. Some fish barbless, some don't fish with live bait, and some don't fish for bass anywhere near the spawn. Here is a list of some potentially bad things; Excluding environmental factors, In your opinion which ones are the most harmful to fish. 1. Live bait 2. Soft Plastics 3. Barbed Hooks 4. Fishing During the Spawn 5. Fishing a fish to exhaustion during summer with light line 6. Mishandling of fish after being caught
  22. Pretty impressive Al, you've got a trailer for any occasion! The best part is the money you've saved.
  23. 1/8oz with a 2/0 mustad ultra point light wire hook,I wanted a bronze Gamakatsu O'shaunessy but they didn't come with a 60 degree bend. It's also hard to find a flat eye hook in the smaller sizes. When you put on a trailer they have the fall rate I like with 8 lb fluoro. Yep, pour my own
