No biggie, I’ve got nothing against the kid. I know Randy has a big YouTube following and I enjoy Randy’s videos. I’m sure he taught the kid the ropes. There a couple of new kids in Missouri making videos catching smallmouth on streams and posting them on YouTube. One stream is small and very vulnerable. He’s getting a lot of heat for it. The Yak angler guy from up North is another guy who’s unwittingly causing a stir.

This is the new breed of creek and river destroyers. A kid that young doesn’t realize the potential consequences of this. The kid is surely a nice kid and the videos are great but it’s not going to be good for our streams in the long run.

Very true! The first question a Chinese asks is what school did you go to…drives me fruit. Does it really matter?

Understand, but what I’ve witnessed happening for the last 15 years is quite disturbing. I’m glad to see there are many like me out there. The greatest generation made a fatal mistake…they wanted their children to have it better than they did. They also never instilled in their children WHY the US was the greatest nation on earth.

She’s invited me to listen in on her virtual webinars, it has been nice. She only stayed 2 months in Minneapolis and then was allowed to stay home and do class virtually. She goes back in the fall for her sophomore year.

You might say I have a chip on my shoulder for liberal BS….always on the lookout. It’s so transparent anymore. I’m constantly asking my daughter what her professors are teaching her. Then I add my thoughts for her to think about. So many movies have an underlying Marxist theme…I’m the victim, you owe me. Unless conservatives stand up, we are doomed. The Marxist agenda used to be very insidious, after the Obama era it’s absolutely out in the open. They don’t even try to hide the BS anymore. I’m always watching

I feel like these diversity programs do more to separate than include. On a different note: I attended with my wife, an Alumni dinner from Webster University, where she got her Masters. The dinner was to honor former Alumni who became successful. All 4 awards were given to women. None for the men. 2 of the women actually deserved it. The other 2 were questionable. One of them was an aspiring rapper who’s father and brother were murdered over drug deals. The other was a Catholic Nun who stood up to authority (no intelligent reason in my book). ‘Makes you wonder what these Universities are really up to. I really saw nothing but bull coming from that dinner. But I got a free meal…that I already paid for 10 times over!

So isn’t Rolla more expensive than Mizzou or Arkansas? Bottom line is College is way too expensive for what you get. Absolutely no bang for the buck. And these diversity jobs are 6 figure payouts. Mizzou has plenty of overpaid diversity people. My oldest got a full ride to Mizzou because of her GPA and ACT score. She turned it down and went to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities…where she got a decent scholarship for an out of state student. By the way, one of her professors is on the anti Shakespeare list that I posted earlier. Something drastic needs to be done.

I agree with your last paragraph. We will see what its turned into when your beautiful little girl gets close to college. Hopefully you're saving up for that.

I understand your point, but these universities are changing their curriculum all over the country almost as fast as the uptick in their tuition.

In California (I believe USC Berkeley) you can receive an English degree without having ever studied Shakespeare. The woke types are sure destroying our Universities at an alarming rate.
