I think our first possession in the second half we threw two quick slants in a row. The second one was the one Hunt tipped resulting in an interception. We didn't go back to that at all. There is just way too much inexperience on offense right now. I think we need to run the ball more. DGB and Morgan Steward really hurt this team and we just don't have the depth.

I agree as well. I also think Ole Miss is overrated....they had a nice fourth quarter, but Alabama controlled that game until the end and I am not sure how good Alabama is. Mississippi State looks pretty darn good right now.

I think this year, the Cardinals are really challenged offensively. We have to pitch great and grind out runs to win. They play a lot of close games...so it has been hard to relax this year. Cardinals usually take a more business like approach, which they have taken heat for the over years. Royals look great so far.

If Waino was healthy I'd say go Wacha, Martinez, and Neshak as the big three in late innings, but Wainwright's sore arm keeps Wacha as the long man. I am not sure we have anyone else we could trust in the 7th unless Matheny goes with Marco Gonzalez, and that leave us with one lefty in the bullpen. I think Yadi's injury is probably a season ender so I wonder if they replace him on the roster with a pitcher....maybe a another lefty such as Freeman to free up Gonzalez for the 7th. Unfortunately, if we do that this series then by rule Yadi cannot play in he next series if we advance...even if healthy.

Yep, 28 has a spring for sure. I didn't know about 21, but it would not surprise. I think 28 has some holdover near that spring for sure.

I was listening to a KC radio host rant yesterday blast the Cardinal and the fans and the city etc. I don't know many Cardinal fans that genuinely dislike the Royals or their fans. In fact I think most are pulling for them. KC seems to want the Cardinals and the city to burn. I don't get it...it is weird! The protestors will probably be out again, but I doubt it will be an issue for anyone or they will even be able to close enough to the park. Justin arrive early and talk a walk around ballpark village and fox sports midwest live....it is worth checking out! My brothers surprise 40th will be on the rooftops seats if the Cardinal make it to the Word Series. Should be fun.

It is stupid that college athletes cannot get jobs or market themselves. Unless they have rich parents they are broke for the most part. At the same time it is a rule and incredibly stupid for Gurley, in the wake of the Manziel fiasco, to risk it. However, I hate the fact he will be out against Mizzou. If we somehow manage to win the East I can already hear the excuses.... And the running backing taking his spot is pretty darn good.

I actually think that Alabama out played Old Miss for the most part except that last 10 minutes and is probably the better team. Bo Wallace looks great, but he is prone to mistakes at times too. Not sure about Miss St either and LSU might finish last in the West. I have a feeling in the end it will be the winner of Auburn/Alabama to Atlanta.

Yep, a great weekend for the state of Mississippi. Wow I didn't even look at Auburn's schedule...that is super tough. If they win out #1 for sure.

Yep, he will keep you in the game and he is one competitive guy. He pitched great last night. I hope Allen Craig does well for the Red Sox. When healthy he was incredible in the clutch. Just hope he is healthy...not sure he was this year.
