  1. Very cool. Thanks for sharing
  2. I agree the MU/OSU is a great matchup.I expect it to be intense with all the SEC/big 12 hoopla. I think bama beats OU, and I could totally see Saban going to Texas. The hit on josey was dirty. I thought it might result in an ejection as soon as I saw it. I was worried that Auburn would shred us like they did and was dissapointed in the result. If i am the steckel you have to adjust...it is not like it could have gotten any worse...at least try something anything. All they really needed was a stop or two to have a chance at the end. DGB has finally arrived. He looked great IMO.
  3. Auburn was just better. Not sure it mattered what we did. I don't think anyone can stop it...but having 59 dropped on you is tough to swallow. Great season for MU... need to make it count on the recruiting traol. DGB has arrived.
  4. The announcer's are terrible. We have to find away to stop them. Nice pass by franklin!
  5. This game is going to kill me
  6. Tournament building win...big for a young team.
  7. That was a great finish
  8. I can hardly wait until game time. It has been an agonizing slow week. I plan to watch the 7pm games too, but will be much more interested if MU manages to win tomorrow. If both OSU and FSU would loose...oh my. Can you imagine Auburn fans reaction if Bama would sneak back in? It should be a great Saturday of football. I think NIU plays tonight as well...it would be helpful if they would lose.
  9. 4-5 inches at my house, and yes people amaze me at their inability to drive in the snow. The run on milk and cookies is silly too. It is a snow storm...not the end.
  10. Yep...it is hard to beat college football
  11. I see what your saying, but It is not 3 additional games to crown a champion after the regular season which is what I would consider a true 8 team playoff. Depends on ones perspective though. I just don't want to add to many more games to the season 1 is enough for me.
  12. We all need to summon whatever voodo magic we can muster cause Auburn sure seems to have a lot of juju on their side. I need a Malzahn Voodo doll so I can stick him every time he attempts that fist pump and boom chant. I agree with Wayne that matchups for Okie State and MU are yawners. Your reward for a great season...is to play a yawner of a matchup in which you have everything to lose and nothing to gain. I would rather lose to Auburn than play UCF in the Sugar bowl. Seriously. We play UCF next year anyway. A 4 team playoff is the optimal for me. No more than that. One of the great things about college football is that every single game is in essence a playoff game....lose and your pretty much out. IF you add to many teams it will take away from the intensity of the regular season. The BCS may not always be fair, but it sure does make it dramatic. 16 or 32 is just not feasible for division 1 and it would completely ruin the regular season. I don't think there are much more than 3-4 championship contenders each year anyway. Basketball does not matter until March for this reason. Let's go Mizzou and I hope the juju is on our side this weekend.
  13. 5 month old was hungry so dad was on bottle duty...I wasn't that excited to get up at 354am:)
  14. Great games today. Way to go MU! That was stressful
  15. Oregan and UCF pull it out. Can't wait for the games today!
  16. Oregan and UCF pull it out. Can't wait for the games today!
  17. OMG. That is priceless!
  18. I am all for it a well. I have no issues with how it was acquired.
  19. I am proponent of less non conferance cupcakes and more conferance games, but it is nice to have a cupcake in the middle of conference play. It is like having bye week, but you get to stay fresh. Unless your Florida!
  20. for some reason I can't use the quote tab (might be my computer), but Missouri is going to schedule non conference games like other SEC teams throughout the year (as opposed to the first four games) starting in 2015 I believe. Non conference games are scheduled years in advance so Mizzou couldn't break those contracts.
  21. The most imoressive to me was running out the clock at the end of the game. Boring win in some ways, but this team is really good.
  22. If your a sabertics guy john jay was the worst centerfielder in baseball with a minus 10 rating...his replacement is +13 or so (920 is full of static so it might be off s bit, but is top 5). That is a huge difference.
  23. I don't think the Cardinal's really think that Tavares is a centerfielder. I think they have him projected as more of a RF. I think the trade shows that. An outfield of Holliday, Tavaras, and Craig (Adams at first in this scenario) sounds great offensively, but would be god awful defensively. I just don't see how you can keep Craig and Adams on the field together long term....unless the cardinals are going to put Craig at Third base, Adam's at First base, Carpenter at second. Or if Tavares is a bust and Craig plays right (not sure how durable Craig would really be in right field long term.) BTW if you read the Angels message boards regarding the Freese trade they are in full blown meltdown mode. Especially, when the pitching prospect was announced as Salas and not Shelby Miller or one of our top prospects.
  24. I like the deal for the Cardinals. The prize piece is the 22yr old outfield prospect Randal Grichuk. I am not sure what they do with John Jay...maybe platoon or bench. I always kind of viewed Jay as really good 4th outfielder. I think with all the outfield depth the Cards have it might signal that Matt Adams is going to be part of a deal to add a shortstop. I hate to see him go, but don't see how fits with us long term...
  25. I would have a hard time putting an undefeated Ohio State ahead of an undefeated FSU. Now the off field stuff may come into play, but FSU is the better football team IMO. They dismantled a very good Clemson team on the road.
