  1. prayers sent.
  2. florida gulf coast all the way....
  3. that was ugly. Thought maybe i was watching mizzou for a sec. poor shooting by slu and oregon was on fire. not much you can do..but some of our shots were way way off tonight. Nice team a great season and good bunch of a guys...
  4. SLU needs a big second half....gonna be tough down 16
  5. georgetown goes down...upset city today. my brackets are so toast!
  6. LaSalle holds on against KState. A-10 is looking good so far at 6-0. Lot's of brackets getting busted today.
  7. Interesting note I read on ESPN regarding their Bracket Challenge. There were 8.15 million brackets that were entered. Ole Miss and Harvard really busted some brackets. Especially Ole miss who were picked to lose by 80% of the entries. Of the 8.15 million orginially entered only 349 remain that are perfect.
  8. yeah, Gonzaga may be overrated...very interesting to see how that shakes out. Good for Harvard...love the upsets as longs as it is not my team Mizzoui...blah...just never looked like much of team offensively or defensively to me. SLU is a team, but Oregon is not a 12 seed. I think this could be one heck of a ballgame game tomorrow.
  9. Marquette was making everything the last minute. Davidson made one mistake and that was the ball game. Feel bad for them...heartbroken for sure...
  10. Absolutely. Poor guy is about 12 steps to slow. SLU took care of business so hopeuflly MU can tonight. BTW you can watch the games online free at ESPN. Pretty slick and a darn good picture. It sure made my work day much more exiting. It has a "boss button" in case you get caught.
  11. so your telling me there is a chance? I think your gonna get your perfect bracket. lol. I think last year a couple people actually picked perfect brackets at ESPN...had to decide the winner by totat points...imagine losng when you picked the perfect bracket...ouch.
  12. My absolute favorite week of the year. Anything can and usually does happen in the tournament.
  13. The only thing I wil add is if you want to start tying flies to save money...it probably won't work out that way. I have stuff I never remember buying and stuff I will probably never use. You know like my wife with her shoes. However, I do enjoy tying and it is a great hobby to have. It is tough to beat watching a ballgame, tying a few flies, and drinking a beer.
  14. But If it is on the internet it must be true. After all it was invented by Al gore. I joke I joke...
  15. Yeah, he is not quick at al and doesn't look very athletic... so as long as SLU moves the ball around then it shouldn't be an issue. I am more surpised by just how big he is than threatened by how good he will be. Probaby can't drive straight at him and excpect good results though. As long as SLU plays their game and shoots decent they should win easily. New Mexico State is not a high scoring team and they haven't seen a defense like SLU. Oregon and Oklahoma State could be a tough second round game for SLU.
  16. Last March the temperature anomaly was +20. This march it is -2. Deep freezes are now classified for average winter temperatures. And yes it is still technically winter. So yeah, lets compare the two Marches...
  17. Below is the center for New Mexico State. He is one really large man. http://www.mysanantonio.com/sports/college_sports/local_colleges/article/At-7-foot-5-Bhullar-center-of-attention-for-the-4244040.php#photo-4123218
  18. Louisville is playing really well right now and this is toughest regional for sure. MU could beat them if we beat Colorado st, but MU is an enigma. Not sure you fear them, but not sure you really want to play them either. I give up predicting how we will do...but am setting my expecations low. It is great to see SLU as a 4 seed, but they might have had an easier run at a 5 seed in another regional. If we get that far I think SLU will give Louisville all kinds of headaches. This is a matchup that Lousville probably doesn't want. Oklahoma state is a good squad the matchup angainst SLU will be a really good game. Mizzou was the last number 9 seed. Really they weren't that far from being out of the tourney. Anyone see the center for New Mexico State? He is like 8 feet tall and 320lbs'. I am interested to see how SLU hanldes that. God I love this time of year...

    Mizzou Vs A& M

that was so bad...just terrible...this team is like Arod in the clutch. Haith has to be beside himself.
  20. I never use a spinning reel it is all baitcaster for me. The accuracy of a baitcaster and the ability to horse a fish out of cover are two advantages that a baitcaster has over a spinning reel. A shimano citica is a great value for the money. I have done nothing to mine for 4 years now and it keeps fishing great.
  21. i not sure what to say anymore...just really frustrating to watch. bowers and oriakhi picking up two quick fouls in the first half really hurt as well.
  22. Yeah, watching that game was a bit painful. I think slu shot 31 percent and ellis built a house. they were due for a bad game, and they never quit even when it seemed xavier was pulling away.
  23. I would like to get away from an 8 or 9 seed if possible, but you have to win in Knoxville and do some damage in the SEC tournament. Mizzou looked good last night and i don't think there is any love loss between Anderson and Haith. Think we are seeing the begining of a pretty heated rivalry.
  24. apparantly what set haith off was when anderson called a timeout after pressey's 3 and said to pressey, " i will give you that shot all night". considering the relationship anderson has with the pressey family it is not really a big deal imo, but not the best time to get cute either. even if he was kidding around. i like haith sticking up for his guys though. Pretty sure this is gonna be a lively rivalry for years to come...
  25. all this talk about the river has me itching to head on down....hoping to swing it soon....finishing up the honey do over the next couple weeks...hopefully.
