water temp in crooked creek was 46 degrees saturday. I overheard someone on a cell phone saying they caught a 6lb largemouth in either crooked creek or another creek close by.

You can anchor? I thought you couldn't anchor on the norfork. Maybe it AGFC meant just drift anchors. I have fished the norfork a little and the worst spot for me has been the second set of rocks in the catc and release area. With one generator going my boat can't make it up. Down below the handicap access is a little rough but not bad. How much do the pontoons run? I would like to get one

Welcome. I live in Salem, Ar and fish the white and norfork as often as I can. I went out Monday with a neighbor and caught two baby browns(18")

Welcome to the forum. I fished the spring river for the first time yesterday and caught 18.5" rainbow.

a buddy and I went to the Spring river friday to do some bass fishing and a little trout fishing. We launched at cold springs(which was about 2ft low it appeared) and caught 5 largemouths. No good size to them, biggest was probably 1.5lb, and 5 rainbows that were ~11". Bass were caught on yellow crankbaits and one on a zigjig(greenish). Trout were caught on the zigjig and chartruese powerbait.

I am from Granbury, TX. I have lived here for 10 years. I fish the white and spring rivers and lake norfork constantly.

how deep was the catfish?? On Dec 31 I was on the Texas coast fishing for redfish and the water was actually COLDER there. It was 46.6 degrees. Go figure.

I haven't been since a few days before Christmas but we were catching them right and left about a mile below the buffalo city access in a tiny creek. I plan on going Saturday and trying it again. A few guys at work(Eaton) have said that they wouldn't eat fish from crooked creek because of the polution, has anyone noticed a different flavor or anything from there?
