  1. according to the USFWS the polar bear is not endangered.
  2. Brandon in the lead big time, he weighed in 19lb 10oz
  3. I would not attempt fishing with all the added pressure.
  4. I dont think there will be any fog tomorrow, the wind is kicking it outside.
  5. its amazing how well they do. Bull shoals will be known for bass again instead of stripers and walleye
  6. name a river in our area that has cfm fluctuations as often as the white.
  7. I have had good luck with deep cycle batteries from walmart. I am running two in my truck right now from 2008(both originaly powered a trolling motor) and the trolling battery in my riverboat is from '09. I wouldn't run a cranking battery for the motor, if a deep cycle will start a 7.3L powerstroke it will start a 200hp merc.
  8. thats amazing! Saturday after work I am going to go watch weigh in
  9. look in the national forest, they are getting thick.
  10. I have never seen a lily pad on the buffalo.
  11. my wife has done good catching them on 1/8 maribou jigs.
  12. Good thing we are free to share our opinion. I dont run any other rivers in MO other than the 11pt(yet) so I dont know about the pressure ya'll do. The way everyone talks the bank erosion is caused totaly by jet boats, and rainfall has nothing to do with erosion. My boat throws about a 4-6" wake while on plane. I just have a 1448 with a 25hp merc. I will admit that I get a thrill running up shoals and close to big rocks in my little boat. I don't just run around in creeks and rivers just to do it.
  13. I wouldnt run a jet ski on a rocky river, your asking for disaster. Fiberglass does not like impacts with rocks.
  14. I take mine so I can take pics.
  15. I like the idea of non motorized portions of rivers, but who gets to decide?
  16. thats how we are. We float NFoW in the summer and drink massive amounts of beer and whatnot. About the rowdiest we get is when I stand my drunk butt up in my kayak. BTW, we need to go floating sometime.
  17. I dont know if I buy into the theory. Look at the lower buffalo river. There are sand/gravel bars 50 feet high, that go hundreds of yards. They have large trees growing on them and do not appear to be "new". How much development is going on along the buffalo?

  19. take 160 out of thayer towards doniphan and get back with me. I have good service everywhere I fish except rush-buffalo city, and the 11pt.
  20. I bought my jet pump for fishing the 11pt during the cold months that I cant float. When it is warm enough to canoe the jet boat collects dust.
  21. last year I started using plastics, tubes and grubs mainly. yesterday I did something new, colored the baits with markers. it worked great
  22. Me and a friend went out on the southfork river today. Water was up, skies were clear, air was warm, and the fish were biting. I could not have asked for a better day. Between the two of us we caught over 75 bass, none over 18" but I caught 4 that were 16-17. we made a 9 mile float(smith ford to hart)
  23. I think waters like the white below the dams arent effected by wakes nearly as much as free flowing rivers because the water level fluctuates quite a bit daily. I am by no means an expert, just expressing a opinion.
  24. 800cfs is not even close to 1 unit. I wouldnt worry about high powered boats on the white. They(big jets) would be here already if they were going to be.
