  3. since they are increasing the outflow on pomme when will they start at truman Thanks
  4. I don't Know about who they sold it to I use to fish with al some and I still throw that spin jig they designed. Pretty awesome bait. There spinnerbaits were the perfect spinnerbait wish I had more. And them big body alron worms werent to shabby either
  5. Guys sorry to report Al passed several Years ago his son is still around along with his old fishing partner Ron williams That town is really changing. Theis is a cvs pharmacy going in where the old country kitchen used to be
  6. No they will start getting on the weir soon. as they have been releasing water off and on my personal opinion is the get on the weir due to water release with the shas balling up in the channel. the water being released a should pull the bait there and the whites should be right behind them
  7. sorry that was 40 - 42 degrees
  8. The area of the Lake that you likr to fish are on fire right now. Yhe Bass are biting a Jerkbait and A jig. The crappie are suspended a;png the main lake bluffs and are 15 to 20 feet deep Sus[ended over 30 - 40 feet of water. A couple of weeks ago there was some skim ice in the backs of some of the protected pockets. It is all gone now last weekend in that part of the lake the water was 40 - 72 degrees
  9. The upper Grand and Osage warm up the first

    Reports?

tough around fairfield area The whites and hydrids are starting to go. The only crappie reports are from berry bend up on the osage. And bucksaw up on the grand anywhere from 1fow to 20 fow. Sorry thats all i know.
  14. Shaker you are right fish alot where oneshot is talking about. I personally feel better on the old fields or flats As long as you know the tree rows fish the lake about 200 days a year And you are right the lakes is really changing wirh alot of the timber falling, I am more concerned with them big ole leaners in the channel.
  15. ok tell mike hi
  16. It just fires me up mopan and rum. When we get all this silt and no one else ever considers silt. Mopan isnt that silt settles something like 21 miles from the headwaters. That would be like buffalo on loz. I am sure truman would be different since they changing inflow on the different size of rivers rum i agree with but i think it is the silt and changing water levels that have hurt the bass spawn. Look at loz always within 2 ft every year when the spawn occurs and truman is a 30 foot variance. Just hate it that all the rivers havke silted so bad. tons of boats use to always go above bucksaw now there are few so its not pressure. maybe the MDC will stock some more hybryds this year lol
  17. I totally understand everyone coming to the corps defense. But why when they have loz at the elevation that they want 655.0 or whatever. They are holding Truman at 708.0 with no flow in march is that so we can generate for money bea\cause the higher that it gets the less money they get for there electricity. And i dont know about you all but common sense tells me old mother nature will bring us spring rain. or has for the last 48 yrs that i know of. They always do this suck the water off the fishes beds or deliver all this silt to cover the spawn. if you dont think silt is a problem take a drive and look at the osage river from the dam to 71hwy. sorry for the rant but the corps pi$$e$ me off. so what is the corps plans when they get all creeks in the upper arms of the lake silted in and the lake will not hold the water capicity that it does know. Any dredgeing in the future??
  18. Y \es i agree the new site is not very user friendley, I knoe Joe Bass is this sunday I will fish it. Does your partner work at the C store in tightwad??
  19. probably depends is there any thing else that weekend? generally fish about every tx on the lake that is open. If there are 2 we generally fish the one that pays the most.
  20. rumrunner i fished the all seasons to it was tough
  21. Thanks MoPan looks like they are going to run truman all weekend I know that the inflow coming down the osage is alot
  22. okay will do see how tomorrow goes
  23. MoPan i notice that the Truman satellite is down also. Is it on the same satelite? Notice Truman has a ton of inflow not expected to crest on the maris des cygne till first of the week looks like grand may crest tomorrow looks like they are planning on running about 45,000 cfs all day tomorrow
