The reaper was one of Harolds favorite lures. His son dusty lives across the street from a friend of mine. He is still reping the reaper and stanley baits i beleive.

Champ i hope you recover very quickly them fish might starve without any spinnerbaits to eat. I hope all is well with you to donna as i drew you in cpaa at truman a couple of years ago. my thoughts and prayers are with you both.

sorry about that. But i do fish alot of tournaments and here the negative side of things hell some of the guys i fish against are rude and cut you off. but some of the crappie fisherman in the spring are the most rudist people in the world i do understand that is the only time that alot of people can catch a fish. But to say all tournament guys are rude is not true. I hope you and your wive have enjoyable weekend at the lake. Just remember if someone pisses you off tell them to have a nice day and continue on what you are doing.

i believe bucksaw resort has some pontoons and 16ft alum boats that they rent. crappie biting up that way also. good luck

i would sat the big reason is all of the buisiness in st louis shuts down and they dont need the electricity. the reason they generate to is they get the most money for electricity between 709 and 706. plus they dont want all the current with the weekenders small child falls of the dock on the main river they are gone jmho. i wish they ran it all weekend to up on the lake. makes the green fish bite better.

was that team the one that went to sam rayburn for the divisonal. if so i might still have the roster. i went on the kansas team that year.

fished anglers in action today most of the crappie fisherman said the bite really slowed down today. we caught 30 on saturday. only about 8-10 were females eggs look there getting ready. this week should get good.

No problem They are really starting to bite. This front may slow them down a bit. but it was really getting good i would just dip them trees where ever there is a little channel swing. this lake is getting ready to break loose. the pomme arm is the cleanist.Then the tebo. hope it helps get them slabbusters 3 inch.

They are pulling 32,000 cfs lake is 2 ft high. Most of the lake is stained right now. They should shut down the water anytime. The lake is dropping about 6 inches a day. Kinda depends on how much we get tonite. Right now the crappie in the mid to upper grand are half-way back in the creeks 8 to 12 foot deep. there are starting to catch some males moving into the bank late in the day. they are catching alot of crappie right now. Thats all i can help with today wait and see what the rains do tonight. good luck
