Gotta know the lake's temp hasn't been this cold this late in the winter for some years. We're used to 50 right now and crappie heating up but not this year.

My understanding is the Kings and the James is seeing alittle action around the mouth and brush piles..(and the deep bluffs) Fact: 2 guys came into the gas station tonight with 25 crappie said they caught the on the james (holding 15-20') .. heres what got me.. they said they caught them on little cleos and spoons (jigging)..
