Ham
Hey Phil: I've driven across that bridge a time or two, but I did not notice a boat ramp. I have a G3 as well, but mine is a little bigger hat the one you guys were in so I'll definitely need some kind of ramp, Is there a boat ramp there or in that little area south of the bridge? Also how far is safe to ease it up the river above the bridge befoe you get into an area with a hard rocky bottom? I'm willing to idle with a motor trimmed up and watch my depth finder. I really don't want a broken lower unit and a prop rebuild. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 30, 2008 Author Root Admin Share Posted March 30, 2008 The ramp is under about 10 feet of water right now. With a larger boat you'll have to put in at Beaver Creek Park at the mouth of the river. Follow highway O off 160 to the park. The run up to the bridge may be alittle tricky staying in the channel since the area is flooded so bad but you should be able to. No problems getting up past the bridge- it's very deep for about a mile. You'll be able to tell when it starts forming back to the original creek and that's where it gets shallow.
