Members Scott W Posted April 11, 2008 Members Posted April 11, 2008 According to Civil Emergency Message just put out, they are increasing the amount released at Table Rock again between 8:30 and 9:30 pm. Said to expect another rise of 2-3 feet.
Bill Babler Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 Newest Information, from Phil, as his internet is down. Between 9:30 and Midnight, CFS will rise from 36,300 to 46,000 and maintain that ammount of discharge until early next week. Both Beaver and Table Rock are still rising and are not expected to crest until early Saturday Morning. Table Rock at 933. This is again a prediction of flow capasity and if they see that the lakes are continuing to rise, it would not suprise, for them to make a further adjustment on the gates. They do it as needed, it is not predetermined. All is very well at Lilley's, wish I could say the same for their neighbors to the SE in Holister. Lots of water troubles over there. Thanks for the pic's of powersite, we were all wondering and speculating. How far is the drop to Bull Shoals? It was hard to determine from the Pic's. We would be suprised if there was another rise of over the 2 ft. mentioned, going from the 36,300 figure to the 46,000. More tomorrow as I hope Phil will be back on line. I have an early Bass trip on the Rock, so will be out of action, until late tomorrow. We will really know something by then. Trav Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 I am on the channel side across from rockaway. My ramp is under water and that is a first since I have seen ever. Have been pushing logs all day. I will have pics up on my blog in a day or so. The river has jumped its bank near twin islands and is shooting straight across to bull creek. That is a sore for us dock owners, brings more trash to push out. My Gram is a natural born native and says this is the worst she has seen. She is 82. Looking across from the lake, Rockaway is fairing well as long as you dont want to fish. Most of the property is lapping at the edges. "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
Members Scott W Posted April 11, 2008 Members Posted April 11, 2008 Does anyone have any info on Scotty's Trout Dock? I heard, from a pretty good source, that it broke loose early this am. I will be headed that way shortly, and will report back.

Micheal Kyle Posted April 11, 2008 Posted April 11, 2008 According to the news it has and drifted down about 300 yards. I hope that everyone is safe, this is a a very tragic event I for one never thought that I would see a a 500 year flood. If any one needs any thing or just needs a place to hang out to get away from all of this for a while please feel free to stop by. My doors and ears are always open.
