Fishing Buddy Don House Posted April 17, 2008 Fishing Buddy Share Posted April 17, 2008 So Bill were can I launch at? Just kidding, from East of Kimberling City to Dam down to Long Creek only State Park is open good ramp but loaded with guide trucks and really bad on a hard south wind day.. I also heard you can put in a Aunts Creek on the new ramp only, but you need a buddy, not 100% sure but a few rumbles of that. Also seen guys launching at Mill Creek but very limited parking even worst on the weekend, need buddy. Good Wading Everyone Don Capt. Members FishnNut
I launch from Mill Creek yesterday, but you really need a partner as the courtesy dock is under water.
MOBass
I'll be down Sunday adding to the crowd at State Park. Someone save me a spot. Any report on the jet ski/water ski crowd? Hopefully the highwater will keep them home for awhile.
focused fishing
Thanks Bill! Now that they've shut most of the water off that should answer the question for a while. ozarksfishin
The new ramp at Cow Creek is also open and has plenty of parking Bill. Sun. morning befor the Pro Am, me and Brad Butler were the only ones down there, we both helped each other launch our boats and were off and runnin in about 5 min. If you are using this ramp as an alternative to running over to Kimberling to fish a tourney, make sure you know the lake well enough to run in the dark!! Good fishin and thanks Bill! S&M
Thanks for the information on launch ramps. I think I'm going to give Eagle Rock a try this weekend. How do I deal with those who ignore the 50 yard encroachment rule?......I show them just how accurate I am with a crank bait!
