Bill Babler Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 Table Rock can be a fickle Mistress, and she showed her mis-behaving side today. Yesterday I and most of my compadrays worked our little fishing fingers to the bone for a bite of fish. Today I started at around 3 and most of my boys did double takes. Early morning and through out the day seemed to be pretty constant on the blade, and the grub swimming in the dam area. Good catches of quality fish. I had the extreme priviledge, of working with 9 of the best the Rock has to offer on my afternoon trip. William's Electric on the first of their, corporate Spring trips got kicked off to lots of quality fish. I believe on the abreviated tours every guide boat caught fish. Can't tell you how good that is for NINE Guide boats in a couple of hour trip. Beck led the way with 10 fish and Nine keepers with a 6 pounder. and all the other guys followed suit. All the boys were flinging blades. I got lucky, my guy said it was to cold. I went anyway and had 7 on a blade and a really nice Jaw on a rig. All K's except for the Jaw. On the flip side my buiddy that did so well dragging yesterday in the dam area, only had a short Jaw, in 12 hrs. on the water. Go figure. Were out again on the morrow, and I hope I have good news for ya. We will be dodging all the tourney rigs and just hope there is enough bank for all the cranker and winders. Most fish today came in the 1 to 5 ft. range and then on the way outside of the bushes to staging fish in the 20 ft. range. LM up close and the K's out swimming. Good Luck http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Whack'emGood Posted April 19, 2008 Posted April 19, 2008 When it comes to baseball, I root for two teams... 1) The Cardinals. 2) Whoever is playing the Cubs. P.S. The teams I root for usually do pretty well. LOL "Success builds confidence, and you have to learn to trust your instincts and forget about fishing the way a tournament is supposed to be won. If I can't catch them on the conventional tackle that I already use, then I guess I just can't catch them." -LK (WHACK'EM)
