Can anyone tell where to look or where to call to get a projected lake level? We have a tourney going out of Big M on May 4th and I'm just wondering if we will even be able to launch there that weekend.

Thank You for any info.

The level of TR will be the same as it is today on May 4.

The ramps that are open today will be open on May 4.

Did the region get significant rain fall last night? Also, can you still put in over at KC 13 ramp? I know the pay ramp road is underwater, but what about there by Skiers Warf?

I gave them $5 to launch at the new ramp ONCE, last spring. I was already there pulling a boat, and I found that they had cabled off the free ramp by the docks that I'd been using for years.

After that happened, I emailed the people who run the Marina there at Kimberling City - and I got a reply from a lady explaining that they'd made quite an investment in the new ramp to make things better for fishermen and tournaments, etc. I'm sure that's true, but the fact remains that they put up a cable to close the old, free ramp so you'd have to pay $5 to launch at the new one!

Now I just drive across the bridge and launch at Mill Creek instead. Back when K.C. had the free ramp, I used to buy snacks, gas, lures, and sometimes minnows at their Marina. I haven't been there or spent a penny with them since they started charging $5 to launch, and I won't either.

I launched there last Saturday. There were so many tournaments going... I didn't want to mess with all of the other boats at Mill Creek and Ahoy's to launch. I paid the five bucks. I was the only boat there in the morning. I was the only fishing boat when I returned. There were quite a few HUGE boats putting in when returned at the end of the day. One parked aross the top of the ramp and blocked it wile he was purchasing snacks. His Mother didn't raise him well!

I will go back to the Corp ramps when they are open. I will probably head up to Shell Knob bridge or Mill Creek this weekend.

I didn't mind paying the five dollars for the quick load and unload for a day or two. I do not like that they charge five dollars to use the ramp on the Cops for Kids fundraiser tournament. They seem to be taking advantage of the fundraiser. If they are going to charge for fundraisers, then maybe they could donate half of the fee back to the charity.

The water was over the road on the left side, and the big ramp is not useable. The right side was fine. Maybe I will see you there Saturday morning. We are still discussing where to put in! I will be the tall homely fellow in the red and white Skeeter.

Apologies for being a little slow...when you say the right side are you talking about the shallow ramp (splits the pockets) or the Schooner creek side?
