Once again I guess I should just keep my mouth shut, This is a LOVE / HATE Relationship with this site from now on I'll just stick to giving out free information, that should make everyone happy...

free advice is worth what you pay for it. Just kidding!!!! keep it up I like to read it even though I have no idea ware anything is on TR. I am going to do a half day before summer is out on TR sence you guyes are all the same price and hire each other with your illeagle actions behind closed doors I guess I will draw straws. I dont see any problem with setting prices like I said in a previous post (I wish I could)but there is alot more SCAB labor with a few tools that will work for next to nothing that dont have to replace wore out equipment on a yearly basis or pay insurence, workcomp ,wadges, Taxes every quater,or any thing else that goes along with a bisneuss.

It is what it is boys, we all discuss rates and for the most part the Licensed and Insured guides will have identical or very similar rates....... Just like most auto mechanics, plumbers, carpenters, realtors, lawyers, doctors, etc........ Of course if you want to hire a cheaper guide you'll get what you pay for, kinda like using a surgeon from Costa Rica, sure he may know how to hold the knife but is the apendix on the right or left side?????? As a side note we all also share information on where, what and when to put our clients on fish as well, but I guess we should stop having these discussions or the Anti-trust Lawyers will file suit.....

if i'm not mistaken~~don't the oil companys call each other daily to see how much they all want to raise gas prices? if they don't, how come they all go up the same time on a particular day?

another point about guide prices~~i don't understand, if you hire a guide for a day @ $250-$350 why would they expect a $30-$70 tip? i'm not saying it's wrong, but that's a lot of money. i'm a contractor who buils decks on peoples houses and i've never been offered a tip...so what is the difference? i'm not saying that tipping a guide is wrong or should not be done. thanks

BoJack- who says they expect a tip?

RedBird- are you a lawyer?

Both you guys are assuming alot with both statements.

I just don't understand for the life of me why one or two people aways has to slap the hand that feeds you.

Sometimes I'm surprised we have any "guides" here at all. May be someday we won't. I'm sure you guys will find someone else to throw stones at.
