Wayne SW/MO Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 Nice job. RR has changed a lot over the decades and it's nice to see some good maps. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Gallagher Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 If we figure out a way to POST it on OA and make it so simple anyone can understand it, I'm all for it!! May work with Tim on it in the next few weeks. No- I know you don't need a daily stamp during catch and release season. Only a MO Trout Stamp. Thanks Phil for the tag info, and I wouldn't bother changing the information here if it works for the majority, but thanks just the same. It would help if I were to go to RR more often to get more familiar with the grounds. Carry out what you carry in...
Jason R. Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 The guy at the park store once told me that I only needed a MS trout stamp if I wanted to keep fish- any validity to that? I trusted the guy, and did not get stopped so I didnt find out for sure. I was fishing outside the park btw so I didnt get the daily tag either. http://flyinthesouth.com/

He was right if you told him you were fishing outside the park. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted November 15, 2011 Author Root Admin Posted November 15, 2011 No dailys are sold now. In the park you need a tag. Out- I guess not but not sure. Probably not if not keeping. Tim would know.
Wayne SW/MO Posted November 15, 2011 Posted November 15, 2011 I suppose the theory is that given the fact we don't have any "pure" trout waters and there is no harvest to support it wouldn't really be morally right. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

Wayne SW/MO Posted November 16, 2011 Posted November 16, 2011 How about a fishing permit to boot? Not everyone needs a fishing permit, but you do need a trout tag to keep fish or fish the winter season and a daily tag to fish within the parks boundaries. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.

ruthead Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Went to print off maps and pdf file for map#6 isn't coming up correct like the other ones. Am I doing something wrong or is there another way to pull it up to print.? Great maps! Thanks. "Pretty soon we may not have any rights left because it might infringe on someone's rights"
