Members Golfbag
I've tried to find this information on other sites for Table Rock and Branson but to no avail. Are there a lot or any places we can stop at while out on the lake for a burger and beer? We'll be staying at Big Cedar and plan on spending our days boating and golfing. snagged in outlet 3
The Truman Smokehouse at Big Cedar is one of our favorites for lunch. I can't wait to hear if there are any other options since we'll be down there in early August. SIO3
bigredbirdfan
Burgers, not beer Indian Point Boat Dock. Otherwise Food and drink at Ahoys or Bearded Clam(both K. City) but that's a ways from Big Cedar.
techo
Big Buoys too, but it is a good ride from Big Cedar. I have been there when the food was really good, and when it was not so good. Tim Carpenter
techo
I forgot to mention that Ahoys was closed for a bit and under new ownership or some such thing. Tim Carpenter
Members Golfbag
Thanks so much for your quick replies. Looks like maybe we'll just pack our own. I would like to try Ahoy's one of the days though.
Rusty
Shell Knob has had a Pizza Hut located just before the bridge that you can dock up to and climb the gauntlet. It has been a few years since I was there but it has always been good. Not sure about them having beer though, but I think they do. It is a nice long ride from Big Cedar. Members HillbillyJim
Shell Knob area has some good places to "dig in"....First would be Steak Inn, which has awesome steaks and a huge salad bar. Next would be BJ's, which has some pretty good BBQ

Ealy
I think I've eaten everywhere down there over the years. Danna's BBQ is great. It's located just South of Branson West on the old part of 13 hwy about a mile from 13/76 jct. As crazy as it may sound if you're in the Kimberling area check out the Hillbilly Bowl (bowling alley) located right next to the Kimberling Inn. I'm picky about what I eat (but I've never missed a meal). They have excellent pizza. Ma's is another mile or two north of the Kimberling bridge. They open early for good homecooked breakfast.
