Guest kevinkirk Posted August 18, 2008 Posted August 18, 2008 I have to tell this story. We were working in a town on the sewer ponds. Going to clean them out and then line them on the slopes, etc. The setup was 3 ponds and they work in sequential order with raw sewage going into pont #1 then to #2 and then to #3. So by the time the water gets to #3 its not bad really. at least its clear. Then to discharge if you do at all, you have to chlorinate it so it kills whats left. Anyway. I found a guy fishing in #3 one day and he had some huge 18 to 20 pound catfish. I guess he had been fising there for years. YUK> You can get a transfer of infectious diseases from fish living in that water. It was funny. He didnt care ..
