bigredbirdfan Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 ....maybe a wizz test should be a requirement for posting here??? by the logic in some of the posts. Funny how Obama has admitted to be stoned and high throughout high school in his autobiography and also says his grades weren't all that good. He then finds himself in an Ivy League College. Explain that logic to me because last I've heard you had to have an impecable resume to have that happen.
techo Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I can't find the data to back it up, but I think Taney and Stone lean (heavily) toward Republican. I didn't post a reply prior, because of the lack of data to back it up. Tim Carpenter

Even though I have never taken illegal drugs, I realize there are many competent individuals who have "experimented" in the past. many of those running our country and Fortune 500 companies. Obama was on a talk show and was asked if he inhaled. He replied something like ,"Isn't that the point?" At least I did not hear "I did not inhale." Obama and Bush Ivy Leaguers and potheads? I think from now on that each time one says I'm an Ivy Leaguer they should also say I'm a pothead. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are. By the way, regardless of party and platform, these folks we are criticizing as well as defending and supporting are merely our trustworthy politicians. Don May I caught you a delicious bass.
jdmidwest Posted September 3, 2008 Author Posted September 3, 2008 I don't know if you watch the news but Obama released a statement that family and kids are off limits. Gloves are off for actual people running for office. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Don Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 Whoa just a miniue. before I get stoned, that is getting stones thrown at me by some of you guys (what did you think I meant?) I need to correct myself. From what I know, Bushy never admitted smoking weed regardless of rumors and any explanations of some of his infamous speech quotes. I meant Clinton and Obama instead. Now we've got a Rhodes Scholar in the topic mix. again...sorry for the mixup Don Don May I caught you a delicious bass.

Although the article doesn't necessarily go into the specifics regarding his path, it gives a brief enough synopsis to formulate an opinion. In regards to Obama admitting to being stoned and high (is that like being drunk and inebriated) during high school...do you really want me to research and substantiate Bush's 1972 charge for Cocaine possession? His Sept. 4, 1976 arrest for drunk driving? His path to avoidance of the Vietnam War? Bush was not without his faults yet we elected him President.
Don Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 I don't know if you watch the news but Obama released a statement that family and kids are off limits. Gloves are off for actual people running for office. Of course he said that. Wouldnt you? Crazy thing is that the media will not let it go. Wake up, smell coffee. Don May I caught you a delicious bass.

Members mark hedger Posted September 3, 2008 Members Posted September 3, 2008 I have not posted on this forum anything sleezey about any canidate like their daughter's sexual orientation Chief. Even a die hard conservative like me knows where to draw a line. I will assume you are responding to my list which contained Cheney's daughter. Please note that no one else has mentioned anything about her sexual orientation being "sleezy" (sic) as you put it, except you. I have nothing against her sexual orientation. She should have the freedom to live her life as she wants as long as it does not infringe on anyone elses freedoms. I was commenting on the irony. And by the way, you posted earlier "Last olive branch I will extend to liberals". Did I miss something? Did anyone else see an olive branch lying around?
Trav Posted September 3, 2008 Posted September 3, 2008 What kind of sound would an elephonkey make? Would it sound more like an elephant since it kicks like a mule? I stay up late wondering things like that. What if two elephonkeys mated, would one gene take over and give its offspring the butt of the elephant and the head of the an donkey instead? If that was to happen would it then sound like "hee haw"? Wouldn't the elephant have a bigger kick? Maybe its because elephants have longer memories and bigger brains that they have the head? But a donkey brain is more set in thier ways and are harder to train? Elephant trainer is one of the most dangerous jobs in the world. Is that why it has the head? Donkeys can get awful stubborn though. Elephants have more rage. I am so confused! Can an elephant and a donkey even mate? They must be able too, There are elephonkeys! If it did have the head of a donkey instead, wouldn't it make it a donkaphant? Would that make the republicrats into demopublicans? So many questions. So little answers. One thing for sure though, I have seen a elephonkey. I haven't seen a donkaphant! So there is more hope for a republicrat than a demopublican! I still can't figure out if there would actually be a difference between the two? Other than one would obviously say "Hee Haw"! "May success follow your every cast." - Trav P. Johnson
