jdmidwest Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 I have always wanted to go up later in the year. Glaciers start freezing up river flows start dropping. Before I die, I want to see all 4 seasons in Alaska. Maybe even one winter. "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 6, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted October 6, 2008 Just search Phil Lilley. I think you'll recognize my photo with the bow. Flies- not sure of the streamers Jim was using the last couple of days- I'll ask. But beads and plain woolies were our staples in September. Jeremy- where is Brian Shaffer?
Jeremy Hunt Posted October 6, 2008 Posted October 6, 2008 He's around. I talk to him everyday. I tried to talk him into coming down here for the conclave this past weekend. Almost got him talked into it. He told me he's been going down to Taney and fishing a little bit. I saw some locals down here for the conclave and they said they have been seeing him to. So he's out nd about. Are you trying to call him? If so you have to leave messages because he screens every call. He will usually pick up if he knows you. I'll pm you the rest. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted October 6, 2008 Author Root Admin Posted October 6, 2008 These were taken by Jacob, our English hand at camp. He's leaving Anchorage for London as I type. He and I took our OUPV Limited to Alaskan Rivers Captain License test yesterday and passed with flying colors. I'll have my license for both here and in Alaska by this winter.
