Have been abit under the weather the last week and had to pay the Dr. a visit. Auther Hale. His parents own Beaver Creek Boat dock. He was down there both sat and sun and reported seeing really nice limits of big crappie coming to the ramp along with lots and lots of whites. The whites were not big but plentful.

Anyone got any info on the where fores or the how toos??

Been pretty quite until now, let us no. Sounds like it may really be good.

Bill stopped by the new bait shop in Forsyth Friday to get some stuff. They have a picture of a really nice walleye caught at the dam on a spinner bait. If you hear of any thing Please let us know. No one is talking. Thanks and stay healthy. Lonnie

one thing ive gotten used to is not too many folks reporting anything on bull shoals, fishing or otherwise.

and maybe thats the way it should be. beautiful lake, uncrowded most of the time, with at times ,great fishing.

not a whole lot of creature comforts around this massive impoundment, and on the west end,you had better make sure you have enough fuel to get where your going. perhaps this is a good thing. all the other lakes get the press and the bull gets left alone. i personally like the solitude i find when i visit there.

The thing I am looking for in fishing reports are GENERAL AREAS ie upper lake creek arms or mid-lake main lake points and general patterns ie slinging a blade or working jigs in 10-20 ft.

Water temp, level, and water color would be real handy as well.

We really tell too much a lot of times and load an area with more pressure than it can stand which ruins the area for other guys that found it on their own.

Cool details about what it took that day to trigger a bite are great, but leave a little something for guys to figure out on their own. Sometimes it is like an infomercial. Guys vomit up every detail up to GPS numbers.

Too much information can literally kill a small creek. Fish that took years to grow can be taken out in a few days.

Bull Shoals is fishing very well right now and if folks will behave themselves should fish well for years to come. Lots of small fish with enough bigger fish to keep you hoping. Wind is your friend. Water temp was around 62'. Water was clear in protected areas with some wave created stained areas.

Drove down to Tucker Hollow, yesterday, just wanted to see the lake. Water was in great shape, but the bank for 50 to 100 feet up looks like a dead zone. Going to be lots of dead stuff for a while. Lots of dead big giant oak trees in that area. Fished there this Spring, before the rains and the shoreline consisted of tall grass medows and a park like setting. Now it just looks bleak. Time and nature will be quick about fixing it however.

Had to chance to speak to a couple of guys that were pulling out, and both reported lots and lots of small bass up to about 11 inches. Both had been looking for crappie and walleye, and had not found any.

Trolling and live bait were the presentations, they were making.

It was that way in the 50's for the same reason, high water. I'm not sure when it fully recovered, but it was back in the early 60's. The cottonwoods at the pothole seem to have survived.

Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
