ecce38 Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 If any of you once lived in Little Rock (like me) or have family there but haven't visited in awhile, here are some photos for you. Or, if you're real bored and need something to look at..... In spite of all the bad press over the last 10 years, this city is a pretty neat place. Viva the Rock! Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted December 1, 2008 Root Admin Posted December 1, 2008 Very nice. I'd think these would bring a pretty penny printed nicely and framed. Great job- thanks for posting them.
Terry Beeson Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 VERY nice shots... Care to share your settings for shot number 3? My grandparents lived in LR as did my sister for 11 years. And I grew up an hour from there, so I once knew LR like the back of my hand. They have done a great job improving the downtown area with the partnering with Memphis. I see you visited the President Clinton Library / Adult Book Store / Trailer House... catman Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Not to pat myself on my back but, I sold all of the Pilkington point supported glass on the Clinton library, and all of the hand rail inside. Nice pics of the Rock I was born at night, but not last night. Odds are with the prepared...
Flysmallie Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 Those are great. Care to share your settings for all of them? I'm new to all this photography stuff but I'm trying to learn.
techo Posted December 1, 2008 Posted December 1, 2008 I lived at 7 Koko Drive, North Little Rock for a few of my formative years. North Little Rock was about how you would picture it back then (1976ish). My Dad was a foreman with Jensen Construction and he and the company built a couple of bridges there. I will forward him the photos. I know he will get a kick out of seeing them. Thanks. Tim Carpenter
ecce38 Posted December 2, 2008 Author Posted December 2, 2008 As far as settings go, they were all taken in bulb mode, from f-stop 10 to f-stop 22. Some exposures were as short as 2.5 secs, while others were as long as 20 secs. depending. A few were even longer. The ISO was set at either 100 or 200. For exact info, go to my photography page (link at bottom), find the pic, put cursor on the right side of photo, a pop out menu appears, click on the 'info' tab. Glad you fellows like them. They were fun to take! techo Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Awesome Web page. I even registered for Dgrins forum. I have a blue heeler and really like the heeler mix photos on your page too. Tim Carpenter
