That's the kind of Breaking-News we have all been hoping to hear. Champ, how long is she going to have to remain in the hospital and what is the length of recovery before she is out flinging steel?

Bill and all, we hope to head home Thursday but if not then, certainly Friday. As well as she's progressing already, we're pretty confident it'll be Thursday. Not sure how long she'll be landlocked but we have the small lakes in Bella Vista where we live that won't involve bouncy boat rides, so we'll probably start getting her back in the saddle out there within a couple of weeks. If I know her, gonna be darn hard to keep her off the water any longer than that.

Again guys, thanks so much for all the prayers, thoughts and replies. Yes Techo, it does seem like family here. Proof positive that fishermen as a whole are a special breed.

Ditto on the good news! Glad to hear Donna is recovering and no problems. I use her as my example to point to when trying to encourage my wife to get back into the fishing with me. This time of year helps me to appreciate the blessings of a beneficient Creator, our marvelous health care abilities, and last but not least is this forum to which I am grateful. Hey, guys. I've been sitting up today in a chair as much as possible. Champ set up my laptop for me. You are so sweet to keep me in your thoughts and prayers. The forum definitely does feel like family and I appreciate all of you. Kinda overdid it walking the halls today with my catheter stand in tow. It's not looking as good for a Thursday departure as Friday.

Yep, figured we could hit the small lakes in Bella Vista in a couple of weeks.

I'm getting ready to take my final stroll this evening and get Champ to help me back in bed. Talk to you soon.

We're home ... been back since Friday. Donna's getting around very well and improving every day. Sorry to have not posted an update before now but been slammed with all of my regular stuff plus being a domestic goddess of sorts. I'm considering asking the directors if I can audition for the cast of Desperate Housewives.

I'll tell Donna to post soon.
