What Was Hatching At Crane Creek

I was fishing Crane creek today and noticed the fish busting the surface,I was working my way upstream and saw a fly that looked like a Lt cahill,I didnt have anything to match it so I caught nothing although i tried elk hair caddis and hares ear.Could it have been a LT cahill?I didnt have any and everything I used didnt seem to get any attention,I even threw a elk hair right next to a bug i seen flowing downstream a nice size bow took the bug and left my fly alone.

Sometimes if you can't match em, you should try something really different like a WB or another streamer. I'd would have tried a Chick's Emerger though.
