Members FISH_ON Posted March 21, 2006 Members Posted March 21, 2006 have any of ya'll ever heard of the gummy minnow(google it if you haven't)? Think it would be legal in the restricted zone?
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 21, 2006 Root Admin Posted March 21, 2006 If it's soft - it is not legal. The name implies it's soft.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I've had some for a while and they are deadly on all species. Illegal for sure as far as what I understand. They can not be beat in the salt. I'm sure trout would hammer em. Snag. Forgot to add this. If I were fishing the Rock or BS this spring for whites I would try these on a fly rod. These things will flat put bass in the boat sometimes. That is all. Snag.
Micheal Kyle Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I have fished the Gummy minnow #6 for whites and they are awesome. They come in size 2-8 and various colors, I like the blue and pearl the best. They are pricey they retail for $3.50 for 4-8 and the number 2 are are $5.00/1. I do have them in my shop. I have fished them in the lower lake and the trout love them. They will work for any species of fish. To Know People Is To Know Thier Ways!
