Bill Babler Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 Nice Fisseys ya'll. That is one super crappie. Phil and I had another wonderful day on Upper Bull, I think he is going to post. Started out very cold 19 degree, but the fish were awaitin, and had their mittins and earmuffs on and were allowed to come out and play. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com

Members swellcat Posted January 27, 2009 Members Posted January 27, 2009 The walleyes are exciting. Jigs?
Jeremy Rasnick Posted January 27, 2009 Author Posted January 27, 2009 The walleyes are exciting. Jigs? They walleye came on a white Charlie Brewer's Slider, while fishing the flats. Keep in mind, it was windy and cloudy on the day we caugh those. I guess thats where they come up with the term "Wallye Chop". Luckly for us, about every weekend there has been the 20MPH "Walleye Chop". Rumor has it, the River Run Ramp is open, next time I go out im going to try to put in there and fish between Swan and Beaver. I bet a feller would be supprised what he catches on the flats below the bridge, then again its upper Bull Shoals and could be a humbling experience.
