Members Liv2Fish Posted March 12, 2009 Members Posted March 12, 2009 Fishing here at the lake has been pretty good. I can catch keepers but the big ones are not biting my bait. The water temp is in the mid to lower 40s but I did find some 50 last Friday. I have been fishing around the 3 to 5 mile marker and if you see shad dying it seems that you can catch fish. Last week I was fishing a shallow wind blown pocket and the shad were so thick that you had a hard time not snagging one. When you would make a cast and not snag a shad you would catch a nice bass. I have not been able to go out the past couple of days but plan on fishing the next few days. It is a terrrible thing to have to do but somebody has to do it. There has been quite a few boats early this week prefishing for this weekend tournament didn't see one today as it was pretty cold and windy. Catch Hogs
