Gavin Posted April 17, 2009 Posted April 17, 2009 Top 5 in MO..depends on your frame of mind and expectation level....Barbara Eden, hotty......Morgan Fairchild no go, Mary Anne not Ginger, Farrah no Jacklin Smith..Thinking I'd Rate that Erica from playboy on Baywatch a lot higher than Pamela Anderson. To be honest..trout fishing isnt worth a darn after Jun 1 or so....time to go wet a line for smallmouth.

I've had several trout fishing trips in July and August here that have been pretty good. Especially in the trout parks and other areas that are close to the springs. And I know the Blue Ribbon section of the Current fishes okay all year, even in July and August. By the way , Modern Trout Cowboy, you're gonna have fun trout fishing here in Missouri. It's really underrated, and the fishing can be incredible, if you're lucky. It can also be really tough especially in the wild trout streams around here, but you gotta take the good with the bad I guess.
Guest csfishinfool Posted April 18, 2009 Posted April 18, 2009 What is your top 5 trout destinations and why ? I am looking for places that you all think that would be the best for a trip coming up. BTW this fourm Rock! thank you all for the great tips and news.. i can't believe no one has mentioned the Eleven Point! Great trout fishing, I catch them like crazy in the summer in the fastest water on the river. Try fighting a three pound rainbow up stream. You have to pull the brad pitt move from river runs through it and go down stream with em. Plus there are some real trophy fish in the management section of the river. Some of the best scienery i have ever seen greer to riveton. Plus you dont go under a single bridge and maybe one set of power lines.

I guess I didn't rank it in my top five, just for the simple reason that I've never fished it. By the way trout cowboy, you said something in the last thread about a trip to Montana. If you go, feel free to PM me. I might be able to tell you about a couple of streams you'll want to hit. There mostly to small to post on the main board here, but I'd be glad to share them with you.

Bman Posted April 19, 2009 Posted April 19, 2009 #1-- Brown Boulevard, water on. #2-- Rebar, water off. #3-- #1 outlet, water on. #4-- #2 outlet, water off. #5-- After dark for all of the above. All of my above 5 choices, have the capability of producing large, to extremely large fish. These are the "top gun" choices that missouri has to offer. Mega Dittos Laker, Either Randall doesn't know ya, or he's making funny. 3 The only good line is a tight line

And along the Marianne line, though more obscure would be: Bailey Quarters (whatever her name was) and Markie Post. We're talking in their prime, right? John

We have a couple of spots that we like but looking for new spots.
