brownieman Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Got to Parkers about 1:00...geared up, raining pretty hard...headed for water and here came the drunks. Confidence factor fell from about an 8 to a 1, lol...loud screaming drunks, just not my thing. Waited till they cleared out and headed upstream. River is very full and pretty off color, looks great. The browns were tearing it up, drunks or not. Caught probably 20 or so and stung a couple of nice ones. Alot of fish today were nice 13 to 16 inchers...nothing big but pretty good quality fish. The water looks real good right now and fish were on the feed. My friends say I'm a douche bag ?? Avatar...mister brownie bm <><
Randall Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 So not fair... I have finals for the next two weeks. Sounds like a helluva day. Streamers or were you nymphing? Cute animals taste better.

Gavin Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Thanks for the report...spent Thursday & Friday chasing smallies on the Jack's, great float, caught some fish, had a lot of fun.. Fished the NFoW on Saturday & Sunday, nothing great to report from there...probably should have been on the Current tossing cranbaits. Cheers.
Randall Posted April 28, 2009 Posted April 28, 2009 Yeah, my bad... just assumed you were fly fishing. Cute animals taste better.
