Quillback Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 Don't know about the mud line, but if I am reading the charts right, it looks like the lake has gone up about 5 feet in the last few days.

zarraspook Posted May 6, 2009 Author Posted May 6, 2009 Are you a walleye fisherman??..............if so do you reguarly fish for walleye's on Beaver? I fish walleye & crappie on my home lake (Stockton, MO)... I haven't tried walleye on Beaver.. When I go to Beaver, I am looking for "Topwater" stripper action - Nothing compares to working a Zarraspook and all at once someone drops a '58 Buick on the Spook and is headed for the bottom !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't that the truth!!! And quite the table fare as well... We have caught a few walleye on Beaver -- havent targeted them specifically yet. There are already 8-10lb + fish in there though. With the shad hatch last year...the fish should have some rapid growth rates the next few seasons. SK

BlueWave Posted May 7, 2009 Posted May 7, 2009 I spoke with a friend of mine that works docks on the Lake, and he said clarity was fine from Rocky Branch on down to the Dam. This was as of this morning. He had not been above Rocky Branch this week.
