Thanks guys .... it's been a tough 24 hours. I'm kind of coming out the shock right now. I was totally blindsided by this. Looking forward to getting down to the park and the Niangua and taking my mind off of the situation. Checked with the real boss and it looks like I'll be fishing Sunday and Monday. PC

Wow, I'm shocked (not as much as you). After running your A#$ off all over the world and 29 years. Did they dump all the Engineers? If not sounds like some of them will have to go back to work.

Well, after 29 years with the same company, I got my pink slip yesterday . The 24/7 work week is over. I guess that's how corporate America works. Anyway, thinking about taking a couple of weeks off. Was wondering what's been going on at the park ....seems like it's been kind of tough. PC

I plan on hitting Bennett Sunday, if you want to go I'll buy you lunch at Ollies. I may also take a day off next week sometime and go down too. I've been wanting to go down for a couple weeks now and you being unemployed now just gives me a reason to go down and share my lack of wealth. Maybe you can give me some pointers on how you fish Bennett to boot.

PC, that is rough man. Who was your former employer? I hope the tug on your line helps you through this mess. Send me a PM, and maybe we can get together to fish here locally between the two of us sometime soon for some bass, gills or what have you.
