Jeremy Hunt Posted June 13, 2009 Posted June 13, 2009 I'll be down, maybe we'll bump into eachother. I plan on fishing deeper holes with mouse patterns, or muddler minnows. It'll be a good night for top water action. Accept the drift.....<>>><flysandguides.comVisit my blog
Seth Posted June 14, 2009 Posted June 14, 2009 I didn't make it down that night. We were worn out from fishing out in the boat and running around Branson and went to bed nice and early.

soggyfeet Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Fishing was was great for me Friday night. Sat night seemed a little slow thought but with the storm coming in that knight and scared everyone off I bet the fish were laying down. Friday night at first I was throwing a pruple slumpbuster on 8lb line and doing well till one fish (never saw it but the seven weight rod hasnt bent that far yet) decided to he just wanted to keep it and a little line. After that I started throwing a sculpin pattern that I tied up a while back and landed a nice fish first cast and third cast. After that I was so happy I decide to call it a night on a good note. Sat night started off the bat throwing that sculpin thing and caught a few fish changed to a hibernaor(purple) and caught a few more till the lightning scared me off Saturday day was rediculous from the old big hole up to the dam. I have never seen so many people there before. At one point I think there were 15 people circled aroung rebar all throwing at the stick sticking out of the water. We never went down farther than that so not sure how crowded it was down there. Inlaws did OK during the day time useing some kind of black jig under a indicator. Ran into several forum members down there this weekend and it was nice meeting you all hope to do it again. Brian
Members Doc Tom Posted June 15, 2009 Members Posted June 15, 2009 I went at 0300 Friday after they had shut down generation a 2200. It was great I was the only one there and fished #2 until 0430. Another guy came into the rebar and I went up to #1. It was gorgeous with a 3/4 moon and a light breeze. Caught a few fish too but no monsters. About 0600 the parking lot started to fill and I left.
soggyfeet Posted June 15, 2009 Posted June 15, 2009 Doc you must have just got there when I left. Leanord, Zander, and I were chating up in the parking lot till just before then. Left about the same time sat after talking to fly2fish up by the pavilion. Brian
