I would be using it mostly on streams for smallmouth fishing. Wondering what you all think (especially if you have any experience with one). ness Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 If the primary reason you're considering the kayak is the price, you might end up with something you don't like or want. There was a pretty extensive thread on here a couple weeks ago discussing the pros and cons of kayaks and canoes. I thought there were some very good points made. Might be worth searching for that for some ideas. John
Gavin Posted August 4, 2009 Posted August 4, 2009 Looks OK, for a sit in kayak, but you might enjoy something else better...there was a recent thread on the subject...check it out. Also, if your worried about price.....make sure that you budget for any accessories that you might need...life jacket, paddle, a rack and some straps to car top it, etc...Used boats pop up on craigslist all the time....might get a better deal there.
