darbwa Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 In my planning for my first trip to the Buffalo National River next week, I came across this forum and was immediately impressed with the information that the forum provided. I joined up right away. I look forward to chatting with everyone and I look forward to learning more about fishing in the Ozarks. I have spent most of my life (casually) fishing Grand Lake O the Cherokees - mostly for Largemouth and White Bass. I have no doubt that I will be able to improve my fishing skills in my "home lake" through knowledge gained here but my primary interest is learning to catch the smallies. I posted yesterday under the Buffalo River forum hoping to learn about fishing that river. So if you have experience fishing the Buffalo, please give my post a read. Any information is appreciated. Happy fishing everyone! Ryan Darby Tulsa, OK
Flysmallie Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 Welcome to the forum. You should find lots of great information here.
DaddyO Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 From one Tulsan to another, Welcome! DaddyO We all make decisions; but, in the end, our decisions make us.
eric1978 Posted August 28, 2009 Posted August 28, 2009 I also discovered this forum recently and share your opinion that it is a great resource. My advice to you would be to look up Al Agnew and read everything he has written. The man knows the Ozarks like the back of his hand and has smallmouth fishing down to a science. Have fun on the Buffalo.
