Fall Whites & Hybrids

I've never fished the Osage in the Fall....but I'm fixin' to give it a shot. Any tips or info that will save me some time locating fish would be greatly apprieciated.

I hear Jerry Adams was down there several weeks ago and had some Walley one a 9lb and 7lb.

I simply do not possess Walleye mojo. I've never been able to catch one on purpose.

Did he catch the walleye in the dam trailrace or further downstream?

All I know is some buddy's of mine were launching when he was pulling out, so I guess it would have been below the dam and 54 bridge? Crankbaits were the lure, b/c my buddy's said they lost several and broke quite a few off.

I can't seem to catch walleye on purpose either. Sometimes I luck into one while fishing for hybrids/whites and that's it. We've seen several nice walleye in the shallow gravel bars down by Camp Bagnell or lazy K, whichever one it is, a few miles down river from the 54 bridge.
