CMAC Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 I hear Jerry Adams was down there several weeks ago and had some Walley one a 9lb and 7lb.
fishinwrench Posted September 25, 2009 Author Posted September 25, 2009 I simply do not possess Walleye mojo. I've never been able to catch one on purpose.
creek wader Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Did he catch the walleye in the dam trailrace or further downstream? wader
CMAC Posted September 26, 2009 Posted September 26, 2009 All I know is some buddy's of mine were launching when he was pulling out, so I guess it would have been below the dam and 54 bridge? Crankbaits were the lure, b/c my buddy's said they lost several and broke quite a few off.
Seth Posted September 28, 2009 Posted September 28, 2009 I can't seem to catch walleye on purpose either. Sometimes I luck into one while fishing for hybrids/whites and that's it. We've seen several nice walleye in the shallow gravel bars down by Camp Bagnell or lazy K, whichever one it is, a few miles down river from the 54 bridge.
