Its a pig.. its a tank.. its a big old linebacker of a trout.. with big shoulders - makes you just want to tackle it down and wrestle with it.

If it makes it up the ladder the guys at MDC will not use it. Its just such an old fish.. nothing much would be of use.. (bad eggs probably).

Without a doubt - this is the most fun I have ever had watching a trout. Not too often do we get to study a fish of this size for this long up close like this. Usually you can spot a really big fish in the fall hanging out in one area for a while... but water changes and mood and angling pressure can alter everything.

This fish just loves it in chute 3 right by the ladder. It'll be sad to see her go whenever that time comes.

Just as humans they have distinguishing marks, I watched the video last night at home on a small monitor. I could see the the white mouth just watched it once got here to the shop and watched it again the fish does have a white mouth and I could see the peck fins they are large as well.

Just as Brian said it is a pig I bet it is an old fish.

I would have to agree with Brian on the stand point of the eggs, as you all know we had about 1200 head of Angus cows be for we bought the fly shop. We had a very extensive E.T. Program(embryo transfer) and we tried not to flush very many old cows because about 80% of them gave us bad eggs. Not sure if is the same for fish I would assume it is.

So all they did was eat and get fat just as this fish is doing.

Just think if Taneycomo were managed for Browns what it would create increase the length limit on them just as the White has done. This brown is an example of what it could be.

I agree, give them a "pass" to 24 inches, then hold on tight. I recently caught a 24.5 inch ,female taney brown ,that went 9.5 pounds. The fish was in great shape and an excellent fighter.

I have one for my GL2 it is a fillter that threads on to the lens. I have been wanting to get down there and flim the outlet with my camera just do not have time. New baby on the way this week I have been getting new floors done in the house. Plus guiding down on the White. I wonder if I made my day 30hrs if it would catch on. Lol
