Man.. I missed this altogther... it flew under my radar ?!?!

Perhaps I knew to avoid opening day of C&R season like regular season - for naught!

Sounds like a really great meeting up and having fun fishing time -- wish I could have been there.

Thats a great pic of your fishes Buzz and Chris... and what a perfect early daylight morning shot of fly fishing NechesBobcat!

Next year... I'm there!

I didn't make it down until 9am either, but had a good couple of hours fishing. Had to leave due to obligations as this was a "business trip" for me delivering books and such. Got to visit with Ducky and MC and watch his brother fight an 8 lber then give Duane a hard time about not being able to net the big fish. Visited with Kano as well.

Sorry I didn't get to make the breakfast and sorry I didn't get to visit with others. I was the only one there in shorts and just a fishing shirt. Everyone else was bundled up like it was cold or something... I'm wondering what you folks are going to do when it gets cold... :P:lol:

If you're down there sometime and see the big brown Dodge with "Bucks & Ducks - Turkey & Trout" in the back window, look me up. I'm the taller version of my "twin brother from another mother" Dano... :D

I had a great time. It was really good to meet everyone and see those that I had already met. Couldn't ask for a better group of guys to fish and hang out with. Thanks to everyone.

The highlight of the day was seeing our new buddy Chris, CS Huntley, catch his biggest trout ever.

Great Job Chris.

Thank you for inviting me out. I had a fantastic time and learned a lot of stuff about flyfishing. Turns out, I am a big fan of the streamers. :D It was great to meet so many of the people from the forum as well. Looks like everyone had a good day.

Steve, Thanks again for the early morning Biscuits & Gravy.

While I wasn't able to make it up friday/saturday/sunday I made it monday for a little action and pulled this ugly beast out. It went 22.5" and would of been more if it had the rest of it's tail.

Uh, you sure have a weird looking weenie dog. Mine has a little different tail and four little stubby legs that don't do a very good job of holding her belly off the floor. But yeah, she's as fat as that fish.
