No trap's from me bud... I'm here for fish talk! This forum should, and I still think is, about sharing information about fishing. I've been lucky enough to have met a few of the guys who post here. Looking forward to meeting even more this weekend at Roaring River. There's almost 10,000 people on this forum, but I'm guessing 50 or less regularly post. Wish there was more positive input instead of the stuff Bucks-Hot-Dad brings.

Fishing trips sound good. I have only been on two saltwater trips. One in the flats off of Key West; spent the morning messing around with some sharks and then sat outside the marina for over an hour because the girls we were with (and our ride) had went swimming without emptying their pockets and thus killed their cell phones. Needless to say we were not able to reach them by phone and they were late because they had rented a moped and couldnt find a place to park it while they were coming back to get us.

The next summer I fished off of the southern coast of Mexico while on vacation and caught a sailfish. Went with the same girl, this time she spent four hours throwing up in the cabin of the boat. Turns out the deep sea is not for her. lol. I like to think it was revenge for leaving us at the marina in the Keyes.

Planning a trip to Costa Rica this March, hopefully I get to spend a day on the water there.

I agree with Eric. Except that he is still using that sissy spinning gear. I guess only real smallmouth guys use fly rods.

Let's see went to Swan Valley Idaho in August with 5 others and drift boated the South Fork of the Snake River for 4 days. First time for any of us and the fishing was fantastic. most of the fishing was on top with the fly needing to be within 6" on the areas with large under cut banks to be in the real zone. The Cut's coloring was great with some very bright colors. The fishing under was with a dropper off the dry with mostly bow's & White fish being caught with a few browns. Also the first time I have ever used a balloon as an indicator, kinda strange to me but they worked. In case you wonder about where Swan Valley is located, I would estimate it being perhaps 60-70 miles southwest of Jackson Wy. All around a Great trip with some great people.............
