Members solus_vero Posted November 21, 2009 Members Posted November 21, 2009 Is there any live bait shops near Pomme that sell minnows during the off season? I'm looking forward to doing a bit of crappy fishing during the winter but I'm having trouble finding any bait shops that sell minnows during the week around Pomme. If anyone can help me out, I'd sure appreciate it. Solus_vero ,,,,,,,,,,,,, Latin for - " Only The Truth"
eric1978 Posted November 21, 2009 Posted November 21, 2009 If the fishing's gonna be crappy, why even bother? Sorry, I couldn't resist. Thought I'd bump your thread for you since you didn't get any answers.
KCRIVERRAT Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Try these three spots depending where you're gonna fish. Also, just go to the Pomme de Terre area chamber of commerce for the business phone numbers. Anyway... The Triangle... intersection of Mo. Highway 254 and County Rd. 203 on the way to the Wheatland campground and boat launching ramp. The Trading Post in Carson's Corner... intersection of Mo. Highway 254 and Hwy. 64. Close to the Damsite. Launch ramps at Harbor Marina and Hermitage. TNT at the intersection of Hwy. 83 and County Rd. RB... new store on the way to Lightfoot Campground and Hickory Ridge Marina (formerly Hwy. 83 Marina). My old stomping grounds... Like I said, just call 'em... oneshot Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 Trading Post in Carson's Corner might be the best bet. oneshot
Dutch Posted November 22, 2009 Posted November 22, 2009 All there of them are owned by the same people. Get the phone # of one of them and they should be able to tell you where minners can be bought.
shockley32 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 You can also buy them at the gas station at Nemo. Brad Have your visited Limitville lately?

Members solus_vero Posted November 25, 2009 Author Members Posted November 25, 2009 Carson's Corner, Nemo, I know where they are AND they are on the way to my favorite spots. To know they are all owned by the same people makes me think minnows wont be hard to come by this winter. oneshot ,Dutch, shockley, Thank you gentlemen. trout fanatic Posted November 25, 2009 Posted November 25, 2009 It has been several years since I have fished Pomme but I used to buy them at the heated docks during the off season (both docks had them-but a limited amount and sizes). Come to think of it I'm not even sure the heated docks are there anymore (man it has been a long time, I'll have to change that this year).
