I do know that cats and dogs both will follow laser pens.

Mike Iaconelli and some other guy on TV say they work..........

But will this Laser Lure work ???? or is it slick advertising ?

Just once I wish a trout would wink at me!

I say snake oil. It looks like a camera flash going off. Maybe bass would like that. If you used that lure at night on taney, I know exactly how browns would react to it. I think they only advertise it for bass and crappie. None of the ads I have seen actually show the red laser beam like Iaconelli talks about, only the flash. He says fish would be attracted to that beam, but the beam is somewhere other than the lure. The lure is the source and not the point of impact. For 15 bucks plus batteries you can give it a try Brian. I think this lure also detects carbon monoxide and radon.

Hey now, don't be talkin bad about the Banjo Minnow. I think it was the forerunner to sluggos and flukes? Those types of baits are deadly sometimes. In the dead of summer I live and die by flukes in heavily fished urban lakes and ponds.

when i worked at the pet store, we would take the laser pens and shine them into the fish tanks we had, the fish would sinatantly go crazy trying to eat it. it was the stangest thing i have ever seen. even the community fish who dont "attack" other fish went nuts over it
