Fishrman Posted January 8, 2010 Posted January 8, 2010 motoman Just remember what I said earlier about the hook eyes and line tie. This is what the guy from Fin Feather and Fur told me. I got mine there in Springfield, there are on line places that are cheaper, but I am sure it evens out when you add in shipping. I just happened to be in Springfield, that is why I purchased mine there. Ebay has them also, and they are in the $12 range, I paid $15.

Members cofobasser Posted January 8, 2010 Members Posted January 8, 2010 MST Student, As far as fishing goes you should listen to your buddy back home. He is a great fisherman and will also be fishing LOZ in march. I think he showed you all the colors mentioned above the last time he saw you. What a guy. lol

What a guy. lol Yeah ya know he is an alright fisherman, I'm not sure if I can totally trust his advice thou?... It seems last time we fished LOZ together I seemed to smoke him... Just kidding, u know you're the first one I talk to everytime before I hit the lake. I already have a bunch of clown rogues, and thats mostly what you had in the pointers. Wanted to get some other color schemes... Either way these are just back ups in case my first plan doesn't work out. We both know what I'll be throwing to start the days out with...Ol reliable... Set the hook first, ask questions later...
abkeenan Posted January 9, 2010 Author Posted January 9, 2010 Thanks for the info guys. I bought 6 mcsticks from buyfishingstuff.com. They were as cheap as you are going to find at 8.99 on sale a piece. Shipping was a flat 6.99 no matter how much or little you buy and there is no tax if you live outside of Michigan. So shipping included in the price per lure was $10 bucks. You arent going to be able to find them cheaper. Buying them at Cabelas is 14.99 and you can find them around 12 if you search around the internet. I ordered them on Wed. morning and had them in my mailbox on Friday. Just thought i would tell you guys to get them from there if you're going to order. -Brett
RSBreth Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 You must not be the only one ordering from them, both "Norman Flake" and "Table Rock Shad" are sold out. They do have 'Clown" though...
Members Bullcreek Posted January 10, 2010 Members Posted January 10, 2010 Tackle Warehouse has the McSticks for $11.49. If you buy $50 worth you get free shipping. If you are on their mailing list they will send out 10% off coupons once in a while.

Quillback Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 Buyfishingstuff is now completely sold out of McSticks.
Quillback Posted January 14, 2010 Posted January 14, 2010 I ordered some McSticks and they arrived today, they look just as good as a Megabass in my opinion. If they fish as well, Megabass may have to drop thier prices.
