OK, I'll jump onboard the stink bus, too. Donna and I fished 8 a.m. to dark Saturday and had two bites that we know of ... a giant LM that I missed on a spinnerbait early while there was still a bit of wind, then Donna caught a 12-inch SM on a Pointer around 9 a.m. Only threw the spinnerbait about 5 minutes, spent the rest of the day practicing different poses on the front deck while waiting 15-30 seconds between jerkbait twitches. Did drag a grub, fb jig and throw a Wart a little bit. They weren't having any of that either. Put in at North Indian and fished pretty near every dadgum bluff end between there and the Mill Creek ramp. I'm blaming part of it on Donna making the following comment at our first stop: "We can't not catch them today. Conditions are too perfect." LOL

I'll be back this Saturday for revenge.

Champ, Next time you go and do the poses I want to get that on video, would make a great post on here!! We can even do it in HD!!

I obviously need to monitor the forum more often to make sure I am not being slandered. I may have to contort some of Champ's poses in the shape of a swan dive overboard.

He forgot to mention we went back Sunday to try and wash the stink off and had a much better day. Long time in between bites, but when you found them they were wadded up and healthy. Gonna try again tomorrow. Cast jerk bait, twitch jerk bait, pause zzzZZZZZ, snort, twitch jerk bait. May need to bring some No-Doze.

Thanks for clarifying, Techo. Champ's forgiven anyway since he put me on a 6lb LM this past Saturday. My biggest jig fish to date. Fun times. Guess he has forgiven me for making that forbidden comment the week before considering he took me fishing again. lol And he's taking me to LOZ this weekend.
